$50
Swiss desk clock, ca around 1900. Brass case is 3.25"
wide, with an easel stand in back. The front edge is
inlaid with stone or metal and flowers
on the edge, and the flowers also
have inlay. Beveled glass over the
dial, dial ring with painted numer-
als that are showing mild wear.
The inner dial has the remains of a
painting but the subject matter is not
recognizable to me. The hands have
very fancy painted designs. On the dial
ring is painted, "8 Days". Signed on the back is a name
and serial number, but not readable. The 8 day move-
ment is running, has an alarm, hands are not seated very
well and the alarm set key needs attention. $50-$100.

to be glass. There is a small
crack in the upper right corner.

and bowed. Nice gold dial, airplane with propeller,
great hands, and it is signed, "Swiss / Geneve / Swiss
Made".
atch size movement is running, it has two
winding stems for spring and hands, and a slow/fast
adjuster. I am not sure if it is one day or 8 day. $50-

m. L. Gilbert Clock Co. walnut parlor clock, "Indra",
ca 1890. A nice original clock but is miss-
ing a couple of trim pieces on the
front that should be a breeze for
any wood man. On the back is a
complete label that clearly identi-
fies the clock as "Indra", but the
clock is not pictured in the Ly-
Gilbert book. The case is 20"
high, original dark finish, good
dial with nickel rings, old hands,
nickel pendulum, nickel hammer
striking the coil gong, an 8 day
Gilbert movement, and a
replaced glass in the door. It
strikes hours and is running just
fine. $75-$150.

Swiss novelty clock featuring the twelve zodiac signs
instead of the hours. The 12 signs are inside brass circles,
and the circles and hands are encased in two pieces of
plastic. The dial is signed, "Gubelin
/ Swiss 8 Days". The case is 12.5"
high, 11.5" wide, and overall in
excellent condition. I would
think it is 25 to 50 years old. A
repair label on the back is dated
1991. The 8 day watch move-
ment winds and sets in back and it
is running. The back is signed, "8 /
920253 / 15 jewels / Swiss". A very
nice novelty clock. $50-$100.

m. L. Gilbert Clock Co. wall mission clock, "San
Jose", ca 1913. They called this a Flemish Mission Oak
Finish case, standing 23.5" high. It
should be 24.5" high but the middle
slat on the bottom is probably a
shorter replacement. The pendulum
stick does not have the wood decora-
tions above the brass ball. 8 day
spring movement, hour and half hour
strike on a Cathedral gong. Cast gilt
hands and numerals. Everything is a lit-
tle dirty and grungy, no attempt to
spruce it up it would appear. Most of
the paper label is on the back. Ly-
Gilbert #1270. $50-$100.

Cuckoo Clock Mfg. Co. wall clock, a modern art deco
style clock. Brass numerals, dial rings, hands, trim
around the case edge, weight chains,

ning. It is signed, "Cuckoo Clock Mfg.
Co. Inc. / Made in Germany". The case is
almost 11" square with pendulum attached
it is 30" high. $25-$50.
