E. Howard & Co., Boston, slave clock. In a 15.5" diam-
eter, metal case, painted gold. Good metal dial, signed
properly by Howard, has a few
paint chips, mostly around the
8-9 area. The movement is
signed and it tests good. $125-
$175.

$100
Self Winding Clock Co. "Regulator No.18" case only,
ca 1898. The case is complete with glasses, beat scale,
bell on top, battery shelves, metal label,
and some wiring but no movement.
All the nice carved ornaments, but-
tons, and etc. are intact. The only
thing I see missing is a tiny round ball
on the top. Records of their produc-
tion do not show this model was made
in mahogany, but I am pretty sure this
case is. It has a very dark red finish
that is original and has never been
cleaned. You can probably find a SW
movement for I have sold some in the
past. The case is 50" high and would
be a beauty if cleaned and polished.
$150-$300.

"The Western Clock Mfg. Co. LaSalle, Ill. U.S.A."
imprinted on the very nice dial. Beveled glass and rip-
ple around the glass, and a brass dec-
oration in the dial center. The base
was made to resemble tree limbs,
clock resting in/on the branches.
Original knobs on the back,
movement is ticking right along.
Brass/bronze case is 5" high,
4.5" wide, has the original patinat-
ed finish, and has not been cleaned.
$75-$100.

Unusual Novelty clock, probably Swiss made around
1900. The painters easel is a porcelain type material,
painted red with lots of gold painted designs. Bronze
ornamentation around the dial ring,
top and the artists brushes serving as
a stand to hold the clock upright.
Heavily beveled glass over the
porcelain dial. Brass inner dial
and original hands. Repair to
easel, but hardly noticeable
except by close examination.
Backwind time only movement
is running, being Swiss it could
be 8 day. It is not visibly signed
but I did not disassemble the
movement can to examine.
$100-$200.

$50
Black Forest shelf carved stags head, ca 1890.
Original small shelf, small chips on each end where the
stag is mounted. Antlers and
other parts of the stag are
intact and very nice. The fin-
ish is old, possibly never
cleaned, smoke accumulation,
therefore very dark. The top
shelf is 8.5" wide, 5.5" deep. It is
about 9" high. $100-$200.

$50
Seth Thomas Clock Co. mantle clock, "Column
1874". This is a definite project
clock, the kind I bought when I
first started collecting clocks.
Restore it, talk your spouse into
placing it in a prominent place in
the house, and brag to your in-
laws how you are going to get
rich in the clock business, just
working part time. The 25" high
case is very dirty, I cannot tell if it
is rosewood or mahogany. No
door latch, weights, pendulum,
hands, upper glass, or label. We
have included a new metal dial
and lower glass for you to fit and
install. The 30 hour brass movement is clean, signed
"S.Thomas / Plymouth, Conn.", has no weight cords. If
you buy this clock for $50, restore it properly, you will
have a $50 clock that you will be proud of. Ly-Seth
Thomas #1744. $50-$100.

$25
New Haven Clock Co. miniature OG, 18" tall, complete
case with a few exceptions. The worse news first. There
are no gears on the strike side of
the unsigned 30 hour brass
movement. It also needs a sus-
pension spring, but otherwise a
complete clock. The veneer on
the mahogany case is very
ragged, mostly around the outer
edge. It has two good old glass-
es, door knob, complete label,
coil gong, painted dial, old
hands, pendulum bob, and the
brass movement. You can make
a clock of it if you want to prac-
tice veneering, or sell the parts
and throw the case away. Rare clock not sure. Ly-New
Haven does not show a miniature OG. $25-$50.

$50
Walnut clock shelf with small drawer underneath. You
can keep important things in the drawer, then forget
where you put them.
Sound familiar. The
shelf is almost 18"
wide, 7" deep, in excel-
lent condition. Not sure
of its age but there are
places that are crazed,
some parts the crazing was cleaned, and there are parts
that have smoke accumulation. It could be 25 years old,
or 100. Sorry, I just cannot tell. $50-$100.

$65
Seth Thomas Clock Co. miniature mantle clock,
"Columbia", ca 1931. Tambour
style mahogany case, with a
ship's wheel and brass spokes
around the dial. Case is 7.25"
high, 11" wide, in nice condi-
tion, clean and original. Silver
plated dial is signed,
"Seth Thomas / 4-
Jewels / Made In
U.S.A.". Original hands, wind and set knobs, and a
complete label underneath. The 8 day movement is run-
ning. The only things keeping the clock from being
near perfect are some bumps on the front edges, and the
brass has not been polished. Ly-Seth Thomas #2462.
$75-$125.

$100
American made clock and jewelry box. The nice clean
dial is signed only, "Made In
U.S.A.". Cast metal case
was originally silver plated
and there is only enough sil-
ver left to make the piece
presentable. Hinged lid over
the jewelry box, case com-
plete, no repairs, broken, or
missing parts. All original
knobs on the back of the
movement, and it is running.
$150-$200.

Terry & Andrews / Bristol, Ct. / U.S.A.", inscribed on
the 8 day lyre movement in this steeple clock, ca 1870.
The almost complete paper label is
signed similarly. There is no dial,
hands, gong, or pendulum. Complete
20" high mahogany veneered case is
very dark, smoke covered, a few
veneer chips on the base, a little on
the door, but overall a very good
case. Good cone finials with sharp
points, a door lock with key, and a
great tablet with very wavy glass
featuring a songbird. Complete
label inside, and a dirty movement
that will run as dirty as it is, but cer-
tainly should be serviced. A lot of
potential in this early clock. $100-$200.

$85
Mastercrafter "Swinging Girl" electric motion clock.
This 10.5" high plastic case is a mahogany color, and is
complete. The clock is running, girl is
swinging, and as my grandchildren
would say, "she is hot". Complete
label, perfect silver dial with hands.
A very nice example of this model.
You may need a new inexpensive
light bulb inside. The one there is
not lighting. $100-$150.
709.
$75
Miniature "Ships Wheel" clock, 7" high metal case. A
copy of a clock made by a large north-
eastern company, probably 100
years ago. The 2 inch porcelain
dial is signed, "U.S.Navy", and
some other insignias. It is time
only, runs 1 day. $75-$125.

$125
"The Western Clock Mfg. LaSalle, Ill. U.S.A.", novel-
ty clock, ca 1910. Cast iron case is 9.75"
high, with an excellent patina, and a
clean original dial. Brass decoration
in the dial center, original hands,
and all the knobs on the tin can
movement. Slow/fast hand,
patent dates, and other informa-
tion on the back of the can.
Very clean , nice, and it is
vrunning. $175-$250.
