$200
Lenzkirsch 1 weight Vienna Regulator, ca
1871. Not the case, but the signed
Lenzkirsch brass 8 day movement, serial
number #223215. The case is another mat-
ter. The three bottom finials got lost in
transport to me, otherwise all the pieces are
there. The top is, and always is, question-
able as to originality. Three good glasses,
beat scale, winding crank, brass bob,
replaced wood stick, pulley, brass weight,
all seem to be acceptable for this case. The
two piece porcelain dial has a second hand,
a couple of cracks, and some repairs. I am
not sure if the case is all new, made on
some cabinetmakers workbench, or an old
case with some proper repairs. It is cheap,
and the Lenzkirsch movement, pendulum,
and weight, are worth our minimum. $300-
$500.

$75
German wall box clock, clean RA
type case, three good glasses, base
with three finials and wall levelers,
but it does not have the top. Case
inside on the backboard is decorated
with the trademark of "Thomas
Haller", a German clockmaker since
1880. This clock was probably made
nearer 1900. The brass movement is
thirty hour, complete, very nice
stamped metal pendulum ball with
lyre rods above. Half columns on the
case are turned and deeply grooved.
Dial, hands, beat scale, and gong, are
all original. $100-$150.

$150
German RA wall clock, in a decent
walnut case standing 33" high. The
top carved piece is a replacement,
finials we can never be sure about.
Three good glasses, turned half
columns are very nice, decorative
tail, and wall levelers. Movement
slides into a metal holder that is fas-
tened to the back, and it also sup-
ports the coil gong. The movement
has a very nice support arrangement
that hold the movement to the
bracket. The movement is signed,
"F.M.S.", the trade mark of the
"Friedrich Mauthe Co. of
Schwenningen, Germany". Nice
two piece porcelain dial, original
hands, porcelain beat scale, and
large brass pendulum ball and lyre
rods. $150-$250.

"PATENT / Caveat Filed A. D. 1851
/ S. B. Terry, / Manufacturer of /
CLOCKS, / Terryville, Conn.",
copied from the complete paper
label inside this miniature cottage
clock. It is all original, not restored,
yet a nice collectable part of early
clock history, by a poplar maker.
The front of the 10½" high case is
apparently walnut, the other parts
pine. Original glasses, painted dial,
old hands, brass bob, and key. The
old dial is dirty and yellowed, paint
losses limited to the edges. Thirty
hour ladder movement is complete
and operational, if one desired to
run it. $150-$300.

$125
German RA wall clock, dark wood
case with a coat of varnish that is
probably holding it all together. It
looks nice, just very dark. Believe it
or not, the five finials look correct,
so does the top. Very nice turned
columns on the side of the door,
three good glasses, nice porcelain
RA bob insert, porcelain beat scale,
two piece porcelain dial, and origi-
nal hands, all correct and probably
original. 8 day spring movement is
marked with the "Schultz" trade-
mark, it is complete and should run
with adjustments. The walnut case
is 32" long and overall in good con-
dition. $150-$300.

"The National Clock & Mfg. Co. /
Chicago, Ill., U.S.A.", copied from the
label on the back of this mission clock,
most of which is still present. This compa-
ny was a clock dealer selling thru outlets,
advertising in newspapers and national
magazines. They sold clocks for Sessions,
Ingraham, and possibly others. This wood
case is in "as found" condition, it is dirty,
and the brass numerals, hands, and beat
scale have never been polished. The case
is 25½" long, complete, no damage or
repairs, a scrape or scratch may be found.
$150-$250.
