Seth Thomas
Clock Co.
adamantine fin-
ished case is
black, green mar-
bleized moldings
around each end
and the very top
layer of adaman-
tine. Four adaman-
tine cream colored
onyx columns, gilt
bases and caps,
end ornaments and
the four feet. Clean and polished ornaments and the sash holding a flat
glass. Perforated gilt dial over the paper numerals. Excellent case is 18"
wide and 12" high. 8 day movement is signed, running, striking half hours
on a cup bell and hours on a Cathedral gong. I do not see the identical
clock in Ly-Seth Thomas but is very much like #1590, #1597, & #1598.
$150-$300.

signed dial and original hands. On the back is a complete paper label. 8
day movement is running, strikes a cup bell on half hours and Cathedral
gong on the hours. It appears to be 100% original and to be 100 years old
is very nice. Ly-Waterbury #1127. $100-$200.

E. Ingraham & Co. shelf clock, very
similar to the "Doric" models, but this
clock is not in the Ingraham books,
ands there are no Ingraham shelf
clocks with a three sided top. All are
two or four sided. This fine wood
case is 15" high, rosewood veneer is
excellent, rings and circles on the
front are lighter shades of wood that
is typical for this style Ingraham
clocks. A very good complete paper
label inside, upper glass and dial are
replacements, nice gold and black
painted glass in the bottom of a horse
and rider. Hands and pendulum are
original. Signed 30 hour movement is
running and striking properly. Ly-
Ingraham, page 270, for similar. $75-
$125.

E. Ingraham & Co.
wood cased mantle
clock, "Zenith", ca
1915. This case was
once finished with black
enamel on the wood,
now refinished down to
the base wood. It is
18¼" wide and 10½"
high. The ornament on
the front base is miss-
ing. The six metal
columns, end decorations, and the four metal feet, are all in place and
original. The birch wood case is very clean and superbly refinished. Flat
glass in the sash, metal inner dial, replaced paper dial ring, and a good
pair of hands. 8 day movement is not signed, but is clean, running, strik-
ing a cup bell on half hours and cathedral gong on the hours. The back
cover is very nice but may not be original. Ly-Ingraham #603. $50-$100.

E. Ingraham &
Co. enameled
wood case mantle
clock, "Corsair",
ca 1907. The case
is 17" wide and
11½" high, has
imitation mar-
bleized moldings
under the
columns. There
are metal bases
and capitals, end
ornaments, and
four metal feet. The wood columns are different from any I have seen.
Etched designs on the base and around the bezel. This clock is unusual
because it has an alarm feature. The alarm is in the base and it winds thru
the base. 8 day movement is running, strikes a cup bell on half hours, and
Cathedral gong on the hours. There is a nice signed dial ring; brass ring
and alarm ring in the center and old hands and pendulum. On the back is
about 50% of a paper label. This clock is almost identical to the Corsair
shown in Ly-Ingraham #622. $75-$150.

E. Ingraham & Co. man-
tle clock, "No.1
Kitchenette Assortment",
ca 1927. This group was
an inexpensive line of
clocks, made in three
styles. Oak case is 14"
high, plain yet the wood
color and grain is great,
has the original black and
gold glass framing the
two piece signed paper
dial. Original hands, pen-
dulum, and a large and
complete paper label on
the back. 8 day movement
is running and strikes a
Cathedral gong on the hours and half hours. Cheap but very nice. Ly-
Ingraham #1076. $100-$150.
