New store regulator, an exact copy of an
early American regulator. The oak case is
excellent, stands 38" high, has the pressed
trim designs around the door and case top,
just like the old cases. The 8 day move-
ment is signed "Korea", strikes and has a
calendar function as well. It has a metal
bob with wood stick, two door latches,
three good hands, excellent dial, two exact
copies of old glasses, and a wind key. The
movement is running, striking a coil gong,
and the calendar is changing correctly.
The case is heavy and the materials and
workmanship are quality. Bottom tip bro-
ken on the left side. $150-$250.

German 8 day cuckoo, made by "Hubert
Herr", ca 1970. The clock is like new, and
in very nice condition. It is 14½" high, plus
the pendulum and weights. It is running,
striking, and cooking properly. Very rare
for us to get an 8 day cuckoo clock. $100-
$200.

400 Day Anniversary Clock, disc
pendulum style. Very similar to
all the previous, except this one
needs cleaning and polishing
more than the worst of the above,
particularly the base part that is
outside the protection of the glass
dome. Porcelain dial and move-
ment are signed, "Germany",
and/or "Made In Germany". With
dome in place, it is about 12"
high. This one has a complete
suspension. $150-$250.

Chauncey Boardman, double fusee
steeple clock, ca 1847. Mahogany
veneered case is 20" high, has a few of
the usual corner tics, and the cone finials
are original and have good sharp points.
Original zinc dial has good paint, and
hands and pendulum are period. About
75% of the paper label is inside on the
backboard, and there are two good origi-
nal glasses. The 30 hour movement is
signed, "C. Boardman, Bristol, Conn.
U.S.A.". The brass movement is mount-
ed on a seat board and the fusee arrange-
ment is riveted to the clock movement
frame. It is complete and operational. I
wound the fusee movement just enough
to know it is complete and will work. It
strikes hours on a coil gong. $250-$350.

$250
Austrian Portico Clock, ca
1775. A large well made case,
wood constructed top and
bottom, marble columns sup-
porting the top. Capitals and
bases are wood, painted and
decorated, turned wood feet,
deep grooved design on the
base and top. Carved sunburst
design on top, painted.
Sunburst pendulum is con-
temporary. Bowed glass over
the brass dial, painted numer-
als have been highlighted,
hands may be original, the
dial is not signed. No back
cover, double coil gongs and
two hammers. Two day silk
thread, solid plate brass
movement, is not signed.
Thread is broken. It is a nice
looking clock and deserves
another pendulum and new
thread to hold it. $250-$350.

Seth Thomas Clock Co. walnut City
Series clock, "Newark", ca 1894. All
original case, 22" high, has never
been cleaned therefore it has the
original finish and some crazing. I
would not call it dirty, but a little bit
crusty. The glass, pendulum bob,
dial, hands, gong, and 8 day move-
ment are all original to the case.
Most of the label remains inside.
The brass movement strikes a gong
on the hours, and it is running. Ly-
Seth Thomas #560. $150-$250.
